Ex-Carmel United Star Stockpiles Awards Including NCAA Player of the Year and US Soccer Young Athlete of the Year
 Lauren Cheney was named U.S. Soccer's Young Female Athlete of the Year for 2007. This is Lauren's fifth major national award. Lauren was also named the 2007 Soccer America College Women's Player of the Year, the Soccer Buzz 2007 Women's College Player of the Year, and the Top Drawer Soccer National Player of the Year for 2007. Lauren was the Soccer Buzz National Freshman of the Year in 2006.
Carmel United Rated #9 Girls Program in U.S. Soccer America Press Release (January 31, 2008). With players from Indiana, Connecticut, Florida, Kansas and Navy, the U-19 Cyclones were loaded and won a girls title at the U.S. Youth Soccer National Championships - the first national title for an Indiana club. Carmel's most notable alumna is Lauren Cheney, the 2007 Soccer America Women's College Player of the Year and U.S. Soccer's Young Female Athlete of the Year. Rising Star: Haley Keller scored Carmel's only goal in the U-14 division at the National Championships.
Carmel United Is Sole Indiana Team Selected to US Men's Development Academy The United States Soccer Federation has selected Carmel United to be 1 of 64 teams across the nation to participate in the U.S. Men's Development Academy, which is a feeder system to the U.S. Men's National Team. FC Indiana and Carmel United Form Groundbreaking Alliance
 LAFAYETTE (April 21, 2008) – USL W-League’s FC Indiana and Carmel United Soccer Club have officially joined forces in an attempt to take girls’ and women’s soccer in Indiana to the next level, the two organizations announced today. Carmel United, the undisputed number one girls’ club in the State and the #9 ranked program in the US, will be FC Indiana’s Exclusive Girls’ Developmental Partner and Official Girls’ Youth Soccer Club in Indiana. Carmel United Joins Red Bull Girls National League
 Starting with the 2008-09 season, Carmel United has been selected to join the Red Bull Girls National League for U15, U16 and U17 Girls players. The League consists of the top 32 clubs in the United States, which have won 36 combined national championships. The League unites top teams from across the country in the spirit of true competition and elite player development.

3 Former Carmel United Players in Final 25 Player Pool for U.S. Women's National Team for Beijing Olympics Long-time Carmel United players Lauren Cheney and Keeley Dowling were among the final 25 players selected to vie for spots on the US WNT for the Olympic Games. Shannon Boxx, who played for Carmel United as a U19, was also named to the 25 player pool. The U.S. women, preparing for the Beijing Games in August, play exhibition games April 27 against Australia at Cary, N.C.; May 3 against Australia at Birmingham, Ala.; and May 10 against Canada at Washington.  The Carmel United Cyclones (U19 Girls) won the USYSA 2007 National Championship - the first ever for the State of Indiana. Congratulations to Coach Lindley, Coach Cunningham, Jessica Boots (the Golden Boot Award Winner), all of the players and parents, and Ron Boots (team manager). Carmel United's U14 Girls Academy and U19 Girls Cyclones each won Midwest Regional Championships in 2007. Prior to the Regionals, Carmel United's Girls, in an unprecedented sweep, won State Championships in every age group from U11 to U19. River Road Fields Complex Nearing Completion CUSC is pleased to announce that the River Roads Fields Complex is nearing completion. CUSC has worked with its partner, Carmel Dads' Club' (CDC), to bring the facility to fruition. CUSC extends it gratitude to CDC. The complex has room for 6 "full-sized" pitches. Opening of the complex will take place in 2008.

CUSC Premier Blue 97B (Carter) Champions of LISC Spring Invitational Congratulations CUSC Premier Blue 97 boys on your performance over the weekend in Champaign, Illinois. The team went undefeated for the weekend. The boys had 19 goals for and 0 goals against with 1 PK save plus an amazing, diving one hand save in the Championship game.
Camp Dates Announced The professional coaches of Carmel United Soccer Club are pleased to announce the following camps this summer:
June 10-13: Boys and Girls Goalkeeper and Striker Camp (all ages)
July 7-10: Boys Camp (U9 to U14)
July 14-17: Girls Camp presented by FC Indiana (all ages)
July 28-August 1: Carmel United Pre-season Camp for Junior (U9 to U14) Teams
All camps are open to all players, regardless of whether or not they play for Carmel United, except for the Pre-season Camp. Times and fees to be announced shortly.
Carmel United Premier Blue 94 Girls win the PRF/CFA United Cup Congrats to the U14 girls for their successful weekend (March 29 & 30)of soccer at the PRF/CFA United Cup. In their four games, the team allowed only one goal and recorded three shutouts.
Champions Crowned at 2008 US Youth Soccer ODP National Championships FRISCO, TEXAS (March 9, 2008) – The 2008 US Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program National Champions were crowned at Pizza Hut Park in Frisco, Texas and Carmel United Academy 93 players Joe Mills, Matt Ingram, Jide Oluyedun and Max Odgaard all played significant roles in the Indiana 1992 Boys claiming Indiana's first US Youth Soccer ODP National Championship. Joe Mills was awarded the Golden Glove Award for his outstanding performance. Congratulations to all the boys for their outstanding performance!

Apply Immediately For Available Coaching Positions Now is your chance to join the Best Coaching Staff in Indiana at the State's Premier Travel Soccer Club.
The following coaching positions are new positions that are being created to further provide the best coaching to our players:
1) Assistant Youth Academy Director (2 positions) (U9 and U10) 2) Junior Girls Academy Director (U11 to U14) 3) Junior Boys Academy Director (U11 to U14) 4) Junior Girls Premier Director (U11 to U14) 5) Junior Boys Premier Director (U11 to U14)
All of the above are "part-time" employee coaching positions, provided that the positions will require approximately 20 hours of work per week consisting primarily of on-field activities. Some administrative functions will be required. Base salary will be commensurate with experience. Additional income may be earned through the participation in activities such camps, winter training and private lessons. The effective date of the positions is June 2, 2008. Coach Lindley and Manager Boots Win Prestigious Awards Coach Gene Lindley, of our U19 National Champion Women's Team, was selected as the Indiana Youth Soccer Girls Travel Coach of the Year. Manager Ron Boots, also of the U19 National Champion Women's Team, has been selected as the Indiana Youth Soccer Manager of the Year. Russell Gee, in his 10th year at Carmel United, was a finalist for Director of Coaching of the Year. Please join us in congratulating these outstanding contributors to Carmel United.
Private Lessons Available Year Around Carmel United professional coaches are pleased to offer private training services as independent contractors during the off-season and during the season as well. Cost is $60 per session plus the cost of any rental facility, if necessary. Maximum of 4 players per private lesson so that attention can be provided to each player on an individual basis. Due to potential conflicts of interest, the coaches are not permitted to provide private lessons to players on their own teams. For private lessons, please contact one of the following coaches.
