Uniform Donations Requested: Let's Give to Others
Carmel, Indiana (June 24, 2009). Carmel United is pleased to announce its initial effort to gather as many uniforms as possible to donate to another club (or other organization) in a part of the world where uniforms are scarce or non-existent. Please bring your old unifomrs to tryouts, where they will be deposited in containers. If you forget to bring your uniforms to tryouts, you may also bring the uniforms to the team orientation meetings. Post-tryouts, there will be boxes available near the concession stands for uniform donations. A committee of U16 and U17 boys and girls will conduct research on ideal locations to send the uniforms. If any members of the Carmel United family have a suggestion of where to send the uniforms, please contact Dave Williams at davidwms6@comcast.net. Thank you, Dave, for leading this community initiative. We are identified by many publications as one of the top soccer programs in the United States. Let's be as good off of the field as we are on the pitch and unselfishly give to others in need.
